Are they both from the same computer?

If not check that the font exists on both computers, if it isn't Windows will do a 'substitution'.

          Hi Mark

Rather than zip the entire thing I've made a small tester.
it looks to me as if the fonts are being created properly , they just aren't displaying in the strings creation dialog.

I'm not sure when this started exactly but could it be to do with the last update for workshop 4?
I know W10 did a huge update recently as well.

          Cheers

Hmm, I don't have that font on my system and google seems to have a lot of 'noise' (and worse) in its search results.

Can you show me where you got it from?

BTW, try using this font in Word and see if you get odd behavior there, there have been some errors with Windows font handling in Win10 (i.e. a Win10 error, not Workshop), but they are usually more 'drastic' than this.

              Hi

              Sorry Mark

I should have used a different one as an example.
Its one I used on my website.

I get the same thing with others though

With a different font you can see the results on the screen.

              Cheers

The screen says 'Arial Rounded MT Bold', the fonts you have attached are 'Jura'.

Any idea how that is happening?

I was trying to show that whichever fonts are used ....
They dont display correctly in the right side of the strings dialog.
They dont display correctly on the wysiwyg representation of the display
however the font files that are created and downloaded to the usd card are correct.

it's , a problem with the strings dialog window in workshop 4 , or my installation of it anyway.

Yeah, I was trying to work out if Windows had substituted the font for some reason and you had 'Jura' selected in the program and somehow Windows was changing it to 'Arial Rounded MT Bold'.

You pic shows the height set to 30 (pixels), and the height of the display on the RHS is 60, so it should easily fit.

Have you got 'font magnification' in action on the display settings?

This is what I see with 'Jura 30' and the height on the RHS set to '30'

                      Uninstalled and reinstalled workshop.

                      Fixed the problem

                      Cheers

Hmm, wouldn't have thought that could affect anything. Weird
