  • Leddigit in MagicKbClrEvent (Visi Genie)

    Hello,

I am trying to write a value in a leddigit display from a MagicKbClrEvent but when I use the usual syntax : ledDigitsDisplay(numx, iLeddigits1+1, 185, 4, 2, 73, 0), I get the following error message : function 'ledDigitsDisplay' requires 3 arguments, receive 7 .... I could not find any info about the ledDigitsDisplay syntax other that with 7 arguments ...
... hope somebody will be able to help me ...
    Thanks !!!

For info : the syntax is in MagicKbClrEvent0, line 40 (line 451 is a test)

    Hello Lorenz,

Thank you for sharing your code.

In ViSi-Genie, you can write a value on the Led Digits object by utilizing WriteObject(...) function that can be found on ViSi Genie Reference Manual >> 6.1. Genie Magic Callable Functions page 42 by clicking your display and press F1.

Here’s the syntax with parameters :

    Code:
    WriteObject(ObjectType,ObjectIndex,NewValue)

It's easy to understand by looking at an example.
    In your case:

    Code:
    WriteObject(tLeddigits, 0, value);

    Hopefully, this will help you.

    Best regards,
    Kayven

Another issue for me ... is it possible to define the raw of the PWM function other than the predefined ? 5KHZ is too fast for my steppers and 625Hz too slow .....thanks a lot !!

Unfortunately, as what on the datasheet stated, are the things that can be done only.

Glad to know that you found a solution.
