  • Print problem

    Hello,

    it's been hours that I look but can not find!

    what I would like to do is display a hard variable 8 bit in binary but I only have 6 that appears, I explain

    example

    ID: = 0x20
    print ([BIN] ID);

    I should have normally 00100000 which is displayed, but it is not the case I only have 100000 the last two bit to zero are not taken into account

    could you help me understand my mistake?

    thank you

    Pat

    Hi Pat,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Regarding your query, you can use the format BIN8Z to also print the leading zeroes in the binary number.

    You can check the other formatting bits under the section “Pre-Defined format constants quick reference” in the Diablo16 Processor Internal Functions Reference Manual. (https://www.4dsystems.com.au/product...ions_R_2_0.pdf)

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Pearl
