  • a little software to select a color...

    Hi again,
For making my life easier, I've programmed (really quickly, please excuse the look n' feel) a little application with a color swatch that give the 16 bit hexadecimal color code. It's pretty usefull since most of the programs like paintshop will give only the 24 bit code for CSS or HTML color coding / style sheets etc.
Here it is, feel free to use, and please send me an email if you liked it, found it usefull etc. It's been only tested on windows XP service pack II.

    Enjoy,

It's good to see utilities like this being writen by forum members.

If you don't also check the 4D Systems section of the Dontronics message forum http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/mb/dontronics , you may have missed this one: http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/post/dontronics/vpost?id=2152679

It's just a little app that helps you build the commands for creating User Bitmapped characters in 8x8 format. One nice feature is that it actually builds the code statements for you (for several popular languages plus custom statement templates).

      Thanks Irvin, Steve

        welcome everybody !
quickly made, since I've programmed it in max msp, the language that invented the box + chord paradigm, it makes programming very easy, especially since the the swatch object exist, it just needed some wrapping.

Totally appart of that, Steeve, I LOVE your signature, I've seen this line several times. So appropriate, so true.
I might post the stuff I've done with the oled displays at a certain moment !

          Irvin,

Please do post pictures and descriptions of your completed projects as well as those that you are working on. If you create videos, on YouTube or other public sharing services, please post the link and a discription. See the "pinned" thread located at the top of the uOLED section: "4D Systems Applications YouTube".

As an aside, I'm surprised that you didn't comment on my avatar. Some people find it disturbing and even a little creepy. Atilla refers to it as the "All Seeing Eye"

          Creepy Steve

no worries, I was thinking about posting links, not pics. I already have a bunch of videos on youtube too.
Your avatar is not disturbing, or maybe it's because I'm disturbing people too, so it does not have the same impact on me
The all seeing eye ? I like that, pretty logical for a moderator, right ?
So now I guess I got to call you either Sauron or RĂ¢ ???
