  • can i use this stereo to mono circuit

    2x 10K Pot (R1, R3)
    2x 100K 1/4 W Resistor (R2, R4)
    1x 6.8K 1/4 W Resistor (R5)
    3x 0.1uF Capacitor (C1, C2, C3)
    1x 2N3819 Junction FET (Q1)

Can i connect two somo-14d's to this circuit using the standard speaker + and - outputs from the somo-14d.
I have a 15w mono amp i will be connecting to the output of the above circuit.
I need it for a two channel sound board i am making (for a slot machine project)

    Thanks

    Hi,
I would say use the Audio Line Out from the SOMO instead of the Speaker output.
Could you provide complete circuit, how you are connecting the SOMOs?

i was just goin to join the speaker + and - straight to the inputs at the start of that diagram.

dint really want to use the audio output because of the clicking problem?

Another simple way would be to use a small 'transistor radio' driver transformer , this would also give complete isolation and eliminate any clicks.
