  • Analog Inputs uLCD-32PT_GFX2

In the PICASO-GFX2-4DGL-Internal-Functions-rev2.pdf Pg #20 pin_Read(pin) VALUE say: Returns a Logic 1 (0x0001) or a Logic 0 (0x0000) or the analogue value of the input pin.
It is a grafic Error? or realy I can get Analog input in IO1-5 ? If not what is the best way to get a few analog instruments working in the display.

I struggled a bit with this myself. What I have found is that the smaller Goldelox displays have Analog input capability but the Picasso does not. You will have to use an external A-D converter. I ultimately chose to use a PIC Micro to handle the A-D since I had some other functions that it could handle and let the display handle just the display functions.

Take a look at this post:

MechG uses an AD7995 to handle this and provides his code.

    Luck,

    Wade

Yes, the graphics error in the manual give me false hopes, your idea using a PIC is the best solution for me, I'll try to use the same with Arduino Mega2560, it has ready 16 analog inputs, I need only 4 for my project.

      Thank you
