  • Video and Audio - mutually exclusive?

I would like to be able to play a video on the display and at a different time, play a WAV file...i.e. they are not played simultaneously. It appears this is impossible.

From what I can tell, the only method of playing a video is via media_Video which requires the "raw" uSD format. The only method of playing an audio file is by using file_PlayWAV which requires FAT16 uSD format.

Is there any way of using both?

You can play videos using image controls (which are FAT16).

And / or, you can use RMPET to split a uSD into FAT16 and RAW partions

So, really, you have two ways of doing both, the second will give you slightly better performance.

Have a look at some of the examples
