  • Clear OVF register?

    Hello, Using uVGAII, and have the following line of code:
    pokeW(VM_OVERFLOW,0);
    I'm getting "VM_OVERFLOW not found".......Is this valid for uVGA-II? If not, How do I clear the OVF register?

    there is no way to poke the overflow on Picaso.
    Easiest way is to add zero to something which will clear it.

      So, is the ovf register completely written for certain functions, and only partially written to for others? For example, the manual states that the shift functions > do not clear the contents of the ovf register. If I did a * 2 instead of

        If you multiply, the upper bits (17:31) of the result appear in the overflow register, replacing the original contents of the overflow register.
        If you shift, the overflow register retains the original content and is shifted along with the overflow or underflow of the shift operation.
        Logic functions 'and', 'or' and 'xor' do not affect to overflow register.
