  • Increased uSD speed.....

    Hello,
Just out of curiosity, what would it take for future products to utilize all 4 data bits of the usd cards (besides three more pin.....LOL). Would this allow much faster video transfer to GRAM?

Is the uSD read speed on the 4D products limited to a fixed read speed, or do faster cards (ie class 10, etc) allow images to be transferred at higher rates?

The uSD read speed varies between Goldelox and Picaso chips.

For the Picaso chips the limiting factor is usually the SPI speed of Picaso. A few older uSD cards run slower than Picaso SPI, but not many.

So using a class 10 card will not achieve anything.
