    The SPI that communicates with uSD card runs at 15mhz.

    The language supports communication with uSD cards using SPI that is not much different to the way that any other uSD user would implement the same functions.

    If you implemented the functions directly with any other device with comparable SPI speed, you will find that the speed of read/write sequences can not be improved.

    The uSD spec suggests that speeds of up to 25mhz can be acheived, but we have chosen 15mhz as a good compromize for stability. Faster SPI does not improve the uSD cards 'write time latency'


    I already spent a week to try to understand why the programming is so long.
    This is a limitation that is not imposed by the hardware, it is a fact of life when using uSD in SPI mode.
