  • Text Positioning

    Hey guys,I had previously powered my uLCD128 via SGC and positioning text to an (x,y) location was quite simple.I cannot however find a function which allows me to do this though Goldelox-GFX2. I can set the line and column, however, i need to start the text off at an x and y location.I found a previous post which said to use to(GFX), however, this paramater is not valid in the to function.

    To summarize, is it possible to position text to be printed from an (x,y) pixel loc.?

    Thanks in advance,
    Austin

      Thanks for the quick reply.
      Is there someway to draw text though gfx? I don't think that the gfx_MoveTo function will do me any good until I can figure that out.
      I've tried the to(GFX), however, GFX is not defined. Even reading through thecommands manual there is no declared variable for writing to GFX.
      Is there a memory address that i need to use in the to() function in order to write to GFX?
      Cheers,

        You don't need to worry about that.

        gfx_MoveTo(20,20);
        putstr("Here") ; // or print

        Will do what you want

          I guess i was overthinking it.. haha its nice to see that the to() call is no longer required.
