  • PmmC 27 Bug ???

    Hi,
I have an "old" µLCD-32032-P1T-GFX2 with Pmmc25... My software works well, but if I flash it with PmmC 26 or PmmC 27 (uLCD-32032-P1TGFX-R27.PmmC) I have an error 16 (Unsupported PmmC function) at the line where there is I2C_Open(I2C_MED).
If I comment this line, my software works well (without I2C of course).
In the documentation, this function still exists.
    It's a bug or I make a mistake???

    Hi Thierry,

The problem is that the constant value of I2C_SLOW, I2C_MED and I2C_FAST
has changed in the *.fnc file since R2.5.

You will need to download the latest workshop and install it, then everythiing should be ok to run the latest PmmC's.
    Regards,
    Dave

      Hi,

It's strange because I'm using Workshop 3.1.0.14 (I think it's the lastest) and in the help inline, constants are still same and are valid. I read also the internal 4DGL Functions Guide rev 3.0 and page number 169, it's still same names of constant. In the PicasoGFX2_Functions.fnc (07/03/2011), it's still same names of constant in the I2C functions prototypes...

Nowhere, I see anothers names of constant...
      Where is the mistake ?
And what are new names of constant ?

          Hi,
          I try the beta release 3.2.0.17 and it's the same issue with PmmC27 :Error 16PC = 2235, V1=-162, V2=1
If I change I2C_Open parameter, the V2 change in the Error message.I examine all new *.fnc files and everywhere it's still same names of I2C constant.
With, PmmC25, it's ok, the I2C_Open is accept and the software is running.

            Hi Thierry,
yes there appears to be a problem with that PmmC at (uLCD-32032-P1TGFX-R27.PmmC) - it is incorrect or corrupted.

            It will be updated ASAP.
            Regards,
            Dave
