  • Screen Pressure

Just a note, if you mount your screen in a box and there is even the slightest pressure on the screen, i.e. it is touching the front panel, it will gradually die around the edges and the display will become unusable. Make sure you shim it to have clearance and allow for thermal expansion.
Yet another reason why I have fallen out with the OLED displays. Mine was for use in avionics in a cockpit but its turned out to be not really suitable. It doesn't like the heat variation, parking in the sun, rapid changes in atmospheric pressure or the fact that you cannot always guarantee orderly shut-down, and it burns in like crazy. Its a shame because its readability is second to none, its angle of view is unlimited.
