  • How do I step through a program for debugging

I'm a newbee and am trying to learn how to use Workshop3.

I can compile and load the display module and the demo programs seem to run just fine.

But when I try to use the Edit>Step, or Edit>Pause, I always get an "Application Error"

Is there something else I need to install?
    Thanks for the help.

Ok, I've discovered that the step feature works with scripts. Maybe it works with scripts only? If that's true, is there some way to interact with a program file? Stop it, run it, set breakpoints?

How do you guys debug your programs?

We put print statements in appropriate spaces mostly.

Maybe also print to the serial port.

I can understand how that would work. I just wanted to know if I was missing an easier way to do it.
        Thank You
