    Hmm, if I paste the code and change the platform to uLCD-24PTU it compiles just fine.

    For the 220RD you will need to make some changes as Diablo has a slightly different I2C arrangement (because it has more than one, and because the pins are not fixed)

    All the I2C_ statements will need changing to I2C1_ (for example)

    You will also need to change the I2C_Open as it has two extra parameters being the pin definitions.

    Once you have done that it should compile just fine

      Hi Mark, Thanks for getitng back so quick,

      its the i2c pins that's not compiling, if i read the data sheet correctly SDA is 6 and SCL 8 so


      var SCLpin := PA6;
      var SDApin := PA8;

      I get -

      im not sure why its not giving an error on PA8 as well?

      have i got the I2C Pin out wrong?

        No, you've probably still got the display set to a Picaso display and are compiling for Picaso. You need to change to a Diablo display and then PA6, etc. will be defined.
