Have a look at gfx_Set in the manual, specifically the SCREEN_RES function predefined name

      Hi

Thank you so much. It worked. I have tried looking for screen width and can't find it .
When I write a string of 100 characters , it wraps around. I want to use the entire screen .
Please share some light. I will continue looking .

      Cheers

Once you have the resolution set right you should be ok.

Or are you looking for txt_Wrap?

          Hi

Sorry I didn't your new response. I have a wide screen monitor. Firstly need to stretch and secondly need more characters per line ( smaller font ) I am using
font1. Is there any other way. I have tried all resolutions

          Secondly I need a splash screen. I have a 2 gig SD formatted FAT16
with the bmp file. Not sure how to do this. I have check on the forum
found some notes but can't seem to get it to work.

          Cheers

I need some more concrete details about what you are trying to do.

At 800x480 you are going to get about 130 characters across the screen using FONT1, how many do you really want, how could you possibly read that?

If you went to a smaller font it would be even less readable.

What are the supported resolutions of you monitor?

You can produce any resolution provided X*Y
