  • Touch screen out of alignment with screen object

    Hi,

I'm using a uLCD-43PT. I'm finding that the touch zones don't align with the objects they are associated with. This, as you can imagine, isn't exactly useful especially when touch zones overlap another object.

I've looked for a touch screen calibration program for the uLCD-43PT but to no avail (I've found one but it doesn't work on the 43PT).

I've attached (I hope) a zip file of my test program which is a cut down version of my real program.

Help with this would be much appreciated as I've now been stopped in my tracks on what is an already over time project.

    Regards,

If you download and install Workshop 4 and open a project with the correct display settings you will find a tool to calibrate the touch screen on the tools menu.

Can you try that and see how you get on?

Ah, that did the trick. What happens if the alignment goes out once the machine is on site? We wouldn't want to have them install a full version of Workshop 4. Is the code available to build into applications?

To our understanding it should only need to be done once.

          That'll do nicely, thanks.
