  • uOLED-96-G2 not recognised by Workshop4

I recently bought two uOLED-96-G2 (GFX) displays. I want to program them in 4D Workshop4 (ver. 4.0.2.7) but the software does not recognise them. Specifically, under 'Comms' I get a blue circle and
in the status box it says:

    uOLED96-G2 [v2.2]
    Unrecognised device

If I ignore this and try to upload the Designer 'Hello World' code I get a 'Target incompatible' error. I've tried loading and reloading different PmmC drivers to the displays but nothing works. I also get the exact same error on two separate laptops/uOLEDs/4D programming cables so it's not hardware. Feels like a newbie error but I can't work it out. Please help.

    Thanks
    Chris

    Sorry about that.

Can you edit (assuming a normal install and a 32 bit system)

    C:\Program Files\4D Labs\4D Workshop 4 IDE\SYSTEM.CFG

With your facourite text editor (i.e. notepad will do)

go down to the line starting

    uOLED-96-G2

and change the 4th field (only) from

    uOLED-96-G2

    to

    uOLED96-G2

    and restart workshop
