  • quetion saving to sdcard if battery lost

We are making a device which is used with a battery.
During setup I save settings to fat16 txt file on the sd card.
If power is lost during writing this could give a problem with fat16.

Is there a save way to solve this?

    many thanks
    Raymond

You need to detect the battery low condition at the level that is still safe to write to the card. In other words, the onboard 3.3V regulator is still supplying 3.3V to both Picaso and uSD card. Then update the card as quick as you can with any unsaved data then stop any further access to the card until the low battery condition is removed.
