  • negative numbers for LED digits

    Hi,

displaying negative numbers with LED digits widgets really should not be soo hard. Please implement that. Thanks.

    Best,

You haven't said which environment you are using, anyway, for now you can probably use a strings object with a large font to achieve -ve numbers.

Yes, the LED widget is a nice feature. I would love to see it support the float data type (and 32-bit perhaps) to be able to display numbers > 32K and also be able to automatically position the decimal point with/without a format string maybe. I'm using the uLCD-43DT.

        Thanks,
        Brad

With Workshop PRO you should be able to do all of that, basically using string and using a format string.

You can effectively have a manually positioned decimal point without PRO by placing several widgets over the top of each other and writing to the appropriate one. This can be a bit messy when you change forms as you will been to update the 'current' one immediately after the form is displayed.
