  • Basic firmware in a uOLED-128

    Hi,
I have just received my first uOLED-128 and quickly wrote a simple test program to try it out, I don't have a micro-SD card yet so I'm seeing what I can do with just the bare unit. Does it have more than 1 font or do I need to load extra fonts onto a card? I've tried changing it with txt_FontID(1) or 2 or 3 but the on-screen text doesn't seem to be any different.

    thanks

The Goldelox displays only have one internal font.
If you are using serial you can use extra fonts from the uSD card.
If you are using Designer or ViSi you can use extra fonts from the uSD card and also embed them in your program (provided they aren't too big).
There's an app note 4D-AN-G5001 that describes how to create a uSD font http://www.4dsystems.com.au/appnotes

Thanks, that's great. I bought a micro-SD card today so I'll give the app note a read and try some more stuff.
