    Input means input by touch.

Output means you can write something to it

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately there's no way to send a command to a Gauge. Page 31 of the Visi-Genie R1.7 manual says that a gauge object has no input.

Not to worry, I have decided to use user images instead.

The 'linking' is only 'internal', this is by design to allow you to have different values when updated by your controller.

If you want the values to be the same, you must send the command to both from your controller

Write_obj changes object but not linked event

    Hi,

I have a Slider object which triggers an onChange event to a Gauge. Using the touch screen I can move the Slider and the Gauge changes appropriately.

In my application using the serial Write_Obj command I can also move the Slider object, but the Gauge does not update, even though it's linked to the slider.

Why is the Gauge display not updated when the Slider position has changed by sending it a Write_Obj command?

    Thanks.
