  • downloading from 4DGL to PICASO-MD2 error!

Keep getting an error message when trying to download from the 4DGL to the PICASO-MD2 via the micro-usb-ce5.

I keep getting a communication or configuration issue when trying to download.

    My process was as follows:
PMMC v.9 successful loaded to the PICASO
CG test imageDemo1 downloaded to the micro 256mb card

The problem occurs when using the 4DGL software:
The comp port is set - i know this works because the pmmc v.9 was successful. Platform was set to ULCD-320-PMD2.
    Following the Image-Demo.1
compiled then I tried to download.....and nothing!!!

    Could anyone help

    Leo,

The Rev 9 PmmC is a serial PmmC and will not permit the download of 4DGL code from the Workshop. You need to download the 4DGL PmmC from the uLCD-320-PMD2 product page: http://www.4dsystems.com.au/prod.php?id=2 Under the "Latest Firmware" heading, you'll see links for the serial PmmC (Rev 9) and the 4DGL PmmC (Rev 1.0) and download it to you display using the PmmC loader.

That worked - i was a little confused by the differences in pmmc releases - but you clear that one up for me.

      Thanks Again
