I am having problems with using the Somo tool for .wav -> .ad4 conversion (UsbRecorder version 1.3) on Windows 8. It all worked perfectly fine under Windows Vista before. Once I set the selection tab to "Local file" and try to open a folder containing .wav-files for conversion a panel pops up saying "UsbRecorder Microsoft ... does not work anymore ...". I then can either choose to debug or close the program. This happens no matter if the .wav-files are in 16Khz or 32Khz. I also tried to run the program in compatibility mode with settings for Windows Vista and also opened it as administrator with the same results. Can you tell me what might be the reason for this and what i might be doing wrong? I need this program because i am on a project where i have a wtv020sd soundmodule involved.
