Hi,
I am using an uLCD43 PT(SGC) in a product. Out of twelve units two exhibit a problem whereby if the backlight is switched off for more than fifteen minutes (when the unit is in a standby mode), the uLCD43 crashes or "locks-up" immediately after the command to switch the backlight back on. If the backlight is switched off for less than fifteen minutes then the startup is OK, as it is if I skip the backlight off command during the going-to-standby sequence. Comms are maintained perfectly when in standby. Am I losing my mind or has this been seen before? Any suggestions to fix it? I am going to try heavier gauge wires in the power supply cable.
