Does the micro-VGA support inverse text?

i.e. if I have a black background, and want foreground to be white, then in normal text mode, the 'set' pixels in a character would be white and the 'unset' pixels black, but in 'inverse' mode, the 'set' pixels would be black and the 'unset' pixels white.

I worked out the thing to do is use 'opaque' mode (send an '0' followed by an 0x00), and draw an 8x8 block (or whatever the font size is) in the 'foreground' colour where the text is about to be written (using the 'p' command), and then write the text (using the 'T' command) in the 'background' colour.
