Would seem to be quite doable. you would just need some sort of serial protocol that commands the display to send the file.

reading files from onboard sd card using arduino

    Hello:

I have a ulcd28pt that I use in GFX mode and I would like to be able to create a text file, write the file to the sd card and then later read the file from an arduino which is connected serially to the display. The arduino will not be the host, I need for the display to remain in GFX mode. The arduino will just read the file and work independently with the data. I will want to reset the arduino from the display but that would be the only command directly to the arduino. Is this possible?

    Thanks for your help,
