    Hi
Finally getting round to this project.
I need to use 3mm acrylic or polycarb for this setup as it keeps everything neat and tidy . How can I adjust the sensitivity as mentioned earlier ? whats the procedure ?
    ULCD 43 DCT

    Cheers

Which touch screen are you using?

The 43DCT can have its 'sensitivity' adjusted to work with 3mm polycarbonate, but 6mm is a bit too thick.

The next CT panels we will be getting might be different, so they will need testing.

    Capacitive Touch Protection

Hi , sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I have an application for which I would like to offer one of your screens with capacitive touch.

The screen will be the interface for a vending machine and could be subject to some abuse. I gather from another post that your CT screens will support a 1.2 mm overlay "out of the box"

My question is could I use 3 mm or even 6mm polycarbonate ? whats the effect of increasing the thickness. btw I'm only planning to use simple buttons , no sliders, rotations or other complex stuff.

For this project , and for peace of mind , the more protection I can provide the better.

    Cheers

    Garry
