  • Visi-Genie Keyboard delete

I have a form with two keyboard inputs. If I delete one of the keyboards I get a compile error. If I recreate the keyboard it compiles without error. It is Keyboard1 and the error is as follows:

    Error: 'oKeyboard1' not found (line 717 file:HangLine.4DGenieS)
Error: context error for unknown 'oKeyboard1' (line 717 file:HangLine.4DGenieS)

On another note is it possible to delete a form?

There is currently an issue with 'missing' keyboards.
So if you add 3 keyboards they will be numbered 0,1,2. If you then delete 1 you will get a compile error.
To work around this, edit the .4dGenie file with a text editor and renumber the keyboards to remove the missing one. Make sure you have a backup first.

Deleting a form is the same as deleting an object, simply ensure it is selected and press the 'del' key. You can select it by clicking on the form's 'background' or by using the object combobox

Made the changes to the .4DGenie file and all is good. Thank you.
