    Hi,

I downloaded the 2015-08-30 Jessie release, installed and tested the package available from here:

    http://www.4dsystems.com.au/download...10_v1.0.tar.gz

SInce I am using RPi B+, I just changed the kernel from kernel7.img to kernel.img.

Afterwards, I restarted my RPi and plugged in the 4DPi-24-HAT.

Attached in this reply is a pair of images on the end result. Desktop is viewed without any errors.

I would suggest working on a fresh copy/intall of the Jessie before installing other softwares/programs on RPi.

Unsure if you just selected the URL from above, or if you actually copied the URL. The forum shortens the displayed name.

            Hi Jean

            OK, great it works.

As I said though, Jessie only came out in September I believe, and the 4DPI-24-HAT software that you applied was made months before that, so this is why you were having problems.
If you had used the Wheezy distribution, it would have worked fine.
Anyway, I am glad you have it working now, now you can have fun and see what you can do with the 4DPi-24-HAT.

Enjoy, and thank you for pointing out this problem also.

            Regards
            James
