    Hello DarzVader

    Yes that should be correct.
Please can you look at the RST line with a scope or a multimeter, when you first plug it in, and after you program and see if the line is returning high after you program.

It is not obvious what the issue might be I am sorry.

    Regards

Hello, sorry for answering so late. I've tried to insert the pullup resistor you suggest but the result is the same: i need to disconnect de usb cable prior to every programming. I include the schematic with the resistor insertion for you to check that it's on the correct lines. Thanks for paying attention.

    Hello DarzVader

You likely need to add a 10K pullup resistor on the reset line.
You shouldn't need to reset the PA5 each program, no.

    uUSB-PA5

Greetings. I recently purchased the uUSB-PA5 usb-to-ttl adapter and i'm trying to build a minimal Arduino system based on the schematic I attach. It works fine programming the ATMEGA328 the first time but i need to disconnect the usb cable to the uUSB-PA5 in order to upload again to the ATMEGA328. Does the uUSB-PA5 need to be resetted before every programming event?. Thanks for paying attention.
