  • Error installing USB driver on Windows 10 x64

I downloaded the Microsoft driver for 4Duino and attempted to update the driver for my Unknown USB device, but the driver won't seem to take. When I point device manager to 4dsystems.inf, I get the error message:
"The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems."

I only have one 4Duino attached and it powers up normally and appears in device manager as Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Best,
    Scott

False alarm! I was just using a bad USB cable. I switched cables and everything now works as expected!
