  • help..uoled-96-g2 not responding

    Hello guys,

    just finish programming my Gen4 uLCD_24PTU screens and im very pleased with the resaults.
    Now i try to play with the uoled-96-g2 but when i scan the com it does not find it

    i use the μUSB-PA5... any ideas what im doing wrong

    with this μUSB-PA5 i program successfully my older uLCD_24PTU ...

    i also tried to connect it using the
    • gen4-IB (Interface Board)
    • 150mm FFC Cable
    • gen4-PA (Programming Adaptor)
    i have left from my SK-gen4-24PT but again with no success

      forgot to make clear that the screen is working and it plays the demo...but i cant find it in the com scan...

        Hi george1,

        You might want to take a look at this forum thread: (it includes checking drivers, connection status, etc)

        Make sure that the connections are correct as this is a common problem for the OLED..

          no luck with the USB-PA5
          but i connect now sucsesfuly using the
          • gen4-IB (Interface Board)

            Hi george1,

            Yup, for the gen4, you could use either the:
            - gen4-IB (interface board), FFC cable, 4D Programmer Cable or uSUB-PA5-II
            - gen4-PA (programming adaptor), FFC cable, and micro USB cable

            The distinct difference between the two is the number of break out pins. The gen4-PA's break out pins is designed for the GPIO capabilities of the Displays.

            For the usual version of the Displays, you could use the 4D Programmer cable or uSUB-PA to program the displays.
