    Same with recommended image.
Can I do anything for display not to boot up again after poweroff?

    Hi dpana,

I tried used the same procedure as you did.

However, I did not experience the same scenario you had, the display module shuts off nicely, but as long as my BBB is connected (external 5v) to a power source, the display will boot up again.

Have you tried using this image?
    Debian 9.1 2017-08-31 4GB SD LXQT
    http://debian.beagleboard.org/images...-31-4gb.img.xz

I suggest as soon as the LED lights on the BBB turns of, you can immediately disconnect from the power source.

    1. Last image from https://beagleboard.org/latest-images
    2. No soldering performed
    3. The display starts correctly, touchscreen works.

    Edit: Cape HW revision 2.1

1.) What BBB image are you using for this cape?
2.) Have you also performed the solder bridge on the cape?

I'll try to replicate the issue here on my end, but using the latest image from BBB.org, this doesnt occur.
Does the display start up and boot correctly?

    Code:
    shutdown -h now
    shutdown -P
    ...same behavior.

4DCAPE-43T - At poweroff, screen remains ON

    Hello,
    I am using a 4DCAPE-43T connected to a beaglebone.
When I send "poweroff" command, the screen remains powered as you can see in the attachment.
How can completely power off the screen?
