  • use c++ style functions

    Hi,
    is there a way to set the ide to use c/c++ style functions instead of the pascal basic style
    i notice in some of the include files they are written in c++ but when i include an h file, and use void somefunc(){}
    i get errors like,
    undefined variable void... cheers

    i would like that too but it’s not the language for the displays
    although they are similar in some aspects, you cant use c style functions/code as a replacement

      Welcome to the forums.

      Our 4DGL is a mix of C and PASCAL programming language. We do not always use code syntax similar to C or C++, we have our own syntax and arguments for each function but the code structure is similar to C.
