  • Background problem

    Hi,

I'm having trouble using a white background on a UOLED-160-G2 display using serial protocol.

When setting a white background, the color is more like a gray than white, it seems that the LEDs are fully lit in alternate rows.

When I put some characters on screen, the background of the line on which I write the characters becomes whiter, causing an unpleasant striped effect. More the characters I write more white the background becomes. I attached a picture of the screen, unfortunately, in the picture the problem is noticeable less.

    Any ideas how to solve?

Thank you in advance for your time.

    Hi

This is the smearing effect inherint to all PMOLED displays. Page 9 section 7 of the datasheet explains the special precautions needed to be taken into account when using a uOLED display

    I hope this helps

    Best regards
