  • Genie Compile Errors

Tried to program a new batch of displays , Gen4 4d DT's , today and got loads of errors and crashes.
The program is one that hasn't changed in years and is used several times a week generally.

Copying from backups isn't working , just get the same result/s.

    I've also removed and re-installed workshop 4.

The only thing I can think of is I had a look at some of the fancy controls available with the pro version a few days ago , never used them or compiled any though ,
do I have to go pro to get my old programs working ?

I really need a fix for this if possible.

    Hi Garry,

It is possible the settings for the genie com port are not right. You can check this by clicking on File and then Options and Then the Genie tab. You will probably find that there isn't a com port selected.

    I hope this helps

    Best regards

    Paul
