    Sorry about that, this has now been fixed. If you were to restart Workshop4, then it will pick up the new update database when it next starts up, so that Download button should now work. However, I suspect you have already sorted it by downloading the file from the product page manually.

    Hi,

    Upgrading from one version of WS4 to another won't cause any problems to a purchased license. If for any reason you change your PC hardware then the license password needs to be updated also which is easily done by simply contacting us.

    Sorry for posting late to this party ... but I was about to upgrade from 4.5.08 to 4.5.17 when i came across this thread. Seems a logical follow on question for those of us who intend to upgrade a pro version but have yet to do so.

    Is there anything special we need to do prior to upgrading to preserve the pro license? Under Options -> Updates, if I click the Download button it gives me a 404 not found message.

    I have a similar problem. I had to reinstall Windows due to virus on my PC. After that I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that I could not even open my projects because of their size......

    WS4 Pro Licence

    I purchased a licence of WS4 Pro and successfully installed the software on my Windows 10 (Home Edition) PC about 8 months ago. I recently upgraded my OS to Windows 10 Pro, and then added this PC to my local Domain. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Pro features, and can not use the licence I paid for again (even though it is on the same machine). My only option is to log onto the machin using my pre domain credentials....but I don't want to do this.

    How can I work around this?
