  • Changing active Frames in different Layers of a smartgauge

    Hey Guys,

since I need to design a custom gauge I need the follwing function: When I press a user button I want my smartgauge to change frames of different layers inside my smart gauge. Is this possible and how do i do this with Genie Magic?

    best regards

    Benjamin

    Hi Benjamin,

    Welcome to the forum.

When using Smart Objects, the Workshop4 automatically computes and applies how the layers you’ve placed would function and these layers cannot be altered during runtime. On the other hand, you may still change the layers relative to the frame by placing another smart gauge on top of the other having a different layer as what the attached SmartGauge.zip file does.

You may also refer to the discussion on Changing Background on SmartWidget based on button touched. which tackles the same inquiry as yours.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
