    Where abouts are you adding the 4dpi.rotate into the string exactly?
    Its position does seem to matter.
    If you try and put its location maybe 1 or 2 commands in from the start and try again and see if it works.
    If you still have no luck, please paste the contents of the file you have, and we will try and assist further.

    4DPi-32-II screen orientation

    Hi,

    For a project I use a 4DPi-32-II with a RPi3b+. Since I ordered a new batch with displays I have the issue that the screen orientation is 180 degrees off. When I check the datasheet I should be able to adjust this by edditing /boot/cmdline.txt, but the line 4dpi.rotate is not there. When I add this line and adjust the number nothing happens. Does anyone have a suggestion, google answer do not result in a correct orientation.
