  • Getting "USB device not recognized" error with 4Duino system

    Hi,

I installed Arduino IDE 1.8.5 and with it the USB driver was installed(I saw this checked during installation).
I launched the Arduino IDE and figured for "4Duino - 2.4" under board manager and setup the preference.
    to "http://hosting.4dsystems.com.au/4Duino/package_4dsystems_index.json".

I relaunched the Arduino IDE with existing code
I am able to compile and build.

But when I attach the USB to the 4Duino, the USB never enumerates.

I have several other PCs running windows 10 and they all have Arduino IDE along with the existing code and USB enumerates correctly.

So I was wondering if you can suggest why I am having enumeration problem on the PC (windows 10) with newly installed Arduino IDE ??

    Please help.

    Thanks,
    Asha

    Hi,
Please disregard the post because we resolved the issue. One of the wires was disconnected from the main board.
    Thanks, Asha
