  • servo not moving after i genie.WriteObject a value to SLIDER via Arduino

    Hi,
    My Servo motor can move though if i were to touch the LCD screen using my finger on the SLIDER.
    But my servo motor not moving when i "genie.WriteObject" a value to the SLIDER via Arduino.

    May i ask how to make my servo motor move by writing to the SLIDER Object?

    Hello,

    Welcome to the forum.

    Please check this application note on how to control an LED with an Arduino
    as the host. Granted, it is not a servo motor, but the concept is the same.
    https://www.4dsystems.com.au/downloa...0010_R_1_0.pdf

    For example, after setting the value of the slider in the display module, you would
    also need to set the value of the LED by getting the value of the SLIDER, i.e.,

    slider_val = genie.GetEventData(&Event); //get the value of SLIDER
    analogWrite(LEDpin, slider_val); //write the slider_val to LED

    After that, you may also check this forum thread on how to control a servo with Arduino Uno,
    which I think is very similar to what you are trying to accomplish.

    Hope this helps & best regards,
