  • Workshop 4 Pro: Bug on generating GenieIndex from Generated Files Options

    Hi!
    I'm using this template "#constant %AliasPadded% %GenieIndex%" to generate constants that I need in my program. It almost always works well. But for SmartSliders it use 0x23 as object type instead of 0x24.
    Maybe it is a bug.
    Regards
    Pietro

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting us know about this and we’ll be looking into this issue.
    For now, can you describe what you’re trying to achieve if we can find a workaround for your setup?

    Best Regards,
    Eran

      Hi Eran,
      Thank you for reply. I'm using this constant to call WriteObject function with the alias name. Something like WriteObject(AliasPadded>>8, AliasPadded&0x00FF, value).
      This work for all type of object that I've tried except for SmartSlider, because of the error I mentioned above.
      The solution that I've found is to distinguish the function call for SmartSlider in this way: WriteObject((AliasForSL>>8) + 1, AliasForSL&0x00FF, value);
      I hope you will correct the bug soon.
      Regards
      Pietro
