  • Lcd kepad arduino linear actuator converting to touch screen ?

    Attached diagram and the code for the arduino linear actuator project i made long time ago, I use keypad and lcd. I found 4d system and interested in is my project can work 7' touch screen ? can it work same as keypad and lcd ? what model screen should i look and how to transfer my codes. any help appreciated.

    A uLCD-70DT or a gen4-uLCD-70DT or one of the Starter kit variations should be fine.

    Depending on how the motor control board interfaces you could dispense with the Arduino and Code everything in ViSi, although this would mean adjusting all your code as programming in 4DGL is quite different to the Arduino language.

    If you want to avoid having to learn a new language (4DGL is not all that hard or complicated) you could use Genie and the Genie library for Arduino. In this case an Arduino Adapter Shield could come in handy. (Also available in a kit as the uLCD-70DT-AR )
