  • FFC Connector Specifications

Could anyone tell me the manufacturer of the 30 pin FFC connected used on the gen 4 display?
Specifically I need to know the exact width of the slot. We purchased some Amphenol SFV30R-4STBE1HLF connectors with a slot width of 14.6mm
and the cable supplied it just the slightest but wider making it difficult to insert and causing just some deformation of the cable.

        Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately, the exact 30-way connectors that we use are bought from a manufacturer that sells large volume only.

I hope the above information that Eran gave would be enough to guide you.

Aside from having 30 pins and a pitch of 0.5mm, the socket should also be wide enough to accommodate a 15.5 mm FFC.

        Best regards,
        Michael
