    Hello,

This usually means that the comms setting is wrong in the Genie environment. Pleas click on File then Options and then the Genie Tab to make sure there is a comm port selected like in this image.

    I hope this helps

    Best regards

What would prevent Visi Genie from compiling

Isn't the Visi Genie environment designed to eliminate user coding? I have completed my project layout, connected the 4Gen with blue comm light, selected to run from RAM, inserted a FAT16 uSD card into the computer, run/update bank. When I build/copy/compile, it doesn't compile, I get a 'Visi Genie cannot compile program properly", then fails due to too many errors, the notes section below the layout is filled with errors that I can't access to fix. I've read through the startup app notes and differences of Flash/Ram/uSD.

    Thanks in advance!
