  • Strings (String Style --> Book)

    Hello,

I'm doing a mini project where I would like to show through a string 8 data or data lines at the same time by the same string (To the Arduino Serial monitor). I've seen that the String object has a mode that is Book mode.
This style allows to put the different data at the same time in the same String?

If so, what command in Arduino you should use to be able to send the data. I have tried Genie.Writestr but it only lets me send one at a time.

Let's see if you can help me.

    Thank you

    Marc

    Hi,

Yes, In Book mode, it allows putting different data in the same String object.

I have attached a demo project that demonstrates the differences of Message mode and Book mode in the String object properties.
Please use also the GTX tool under Tool Menu.

If you have time, there's a forum thread that is related to your concern located here:
    Arduino Predefined Strings post#6
It also discussed how to send multi-line from host micro-controller.

If you have question, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Best regards,
    Kayven
