  • Diablo PA# -> Gen4PA GPIO#

    On page 11 of the Diablo Datasheet R2 It shows the "Diablo16 Serial TTL Comm Port Configuration Option." Where can I find the correlation to the GPIO pins on the Gen4PA?

    Hi,

    You can find the GPIO to PA correlation in the gen4-PA datasheet.

    https://4dsystems.com.au/mwdownloads...ad/link/id/70/

    and here is the table showing GPIO to PA

      Yes it does.

      I had to make a form that is basically the assignment of the pin instead of the Picaso column. Something like Com2 TX assigned to PA3 goes to GPIO1. As simple as it may seem it confuses the heck out of me. Next time I'm soldering my header on the label side instead of the component side because it gets even crazier trying to mirror the board in my head.

      A label that fits on the board marking the actual pin assignments is where I think to go ...

      Thanks again

        This form (Diablo_gpio_gen4PA.odt.zip) helps me a lot. I'll have a sticker generator soon - basically an Openoffice Spreadsheet that creates a sticker / label to put on the label side of the Gen4-PA.
