  • gfx.Contrast() with Gen4-IOD-xxT

    Trying to find a method of controlling contrast on the IOD module Much like the gen4 or ulcd 43dt. A reference in another post said it was added to the library, See topic Control Backlight With Continuous Touch Post #2

    Tried the gfx.Contrast() function and it is not found, nor can I find it in the keywords list. Is this function available ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum,

    I can confirm it is in the GFX4d library.

    Do you have the latest GFX4d installed? If not, it is available from here https://github.com/4dsystems/GFX4d

    Best regards

      That is the library I downloaded this morning. Still doesn't recognize Contrast, and I searched the keywords just now and Contrast is not listed

        Hi,

        You can replace the keywords.txt with the attached file. The Contrast function is within the library just not in the keywords.txt. In the Arduino IDE after a restart this will show as a keyword2. In Workshop it will still be in its default colour.

        Best regards
