  • gen4-4dpi-70 pin usage

Since we are not using the GEN4-4DPI-ADAPTOR in our design, it should be safe to reuse the KEYIRQ pin (pin 14) BCM 27?

    Hi,

    Good Day to you.

What are you using to interface gen4-4DPi-70 with your Raspberry Pi without using gen4-4DPi-Adaptor?
What will be the function of the KEYIRQ pin for your application?

    Thank you.

    BR,
    Ferdinand

We have a board designed that the rpi attaches to via the HAT connector, and we route the signals to the display.I am assuming that KEYIRQ line is for the buttons attached to the adapter and since we are not using that, I wanted to use the KEYIRQ as a general IO pin.

        Hi,

That KEYIRQ is an interrupt for the puch buttons from Xilinx Processor connected to GPIO27(pin14) of the Raspberry Pi pin header.
Please use other GPIO pins marks unused.

        Hope this helps.

        Best Regards,
        Ferdinand
